Baseline Climate - rainfall (Seasonal average)

Rainfall – Seasonal Average
The relative pattern of rainfall is similar across the region for all seasons, with the uplands receiving the greatest quantities, especially during winter, and the lowlands and coastal areas the least.  As would be expected, the greatest average seasonal rainfall occurs during the winter, followed sequentially by autumn, spring and summer.
